Three Day Tour – $1180 per person

Day 1: A visit to Rocca Calascio. At 1460 m above sea level, this 1,000 year old watch tower is the highest in elevation in Italy. Dinner at Castel del Monte. Located in the heart of the Gran Sasso mountain range. A medieval and renaissance hill town. Classified as the “burgh piu belli d’italia” or “most beautiful village of Italy.” Day 2: A morning visit to the coast at Montepagno, and a fish lunch on the sea.  An afternoon visit to Civitella del Tronto, another village reknowned for its beauty, for dinner. Day 3: A visit to the village of Teramo and the Castello della Monica. In Teramo, there are Piazzas, Cafe Bars and fancy shops. It is situated between the highest mountains of the Apennines and the Adriatic Coast. There are remains of the Roman Theater built in 30 B.C. and the Amphitheater built in the 3rd century. The three day tour ends after a lunch aperitif.

Dinner in Piazza Martiri in front of the Cathedral. Day 4: A Day visit to the coast at Ortona for lunch and Trabocchi for dinner. Day 5: A visit to Castelli.  This medieval town is internationally known for its handmade ceramics. We will take some time and visit ceramic studios and do some shopping if you choose. This small village also is a member of the “most beautiful villages in Italy.” We will visit the 16th century church of San Donato. The five day tour ends here with an afternoon departure to Rome.

Days 6 -7: We will customize these days based on the weather and the preferences of our guests.
